Powered by the latest 12th generation Intel® Core™ processors and running on Windows 11 Pro, the Portégé X40-K features a host of connectivity options, all of which combine to make it the perfect companion for today’s hybrid worker. Equipped with not one but two Thunderbolt 4 ports, as well as an HDMI 2.0 port, additional USB-A 3.2 ports, LAN, and a Micro SD slot, users are able to remain connected to everything needed to display, charge and transfer simultaneously. Meanwhile a separate AC power socket provides a secondary means of charging, ensuring both Thunderbolt 4 ports can be used with complete freedom


Faster than ever, the model also features the latest Intel® AX211 2x2 Wi-Fi 6E technology alongside Bluetooth 5.2 for enhanced, interference free connectivity while on the move. The X40-K offers up to 32GB DDR4 3200 MHz memory, configurable in two SO-DIMM slots for excellent Intel® Iris® Xe graphics performance. This is further boosted with SSD options up to 1TB, using the latest Gen 4 standard for faster transfer speeds.


AI-enhanced sound and vision at your fingertips

The Portégé X40-K’s easily accessible and all-new AI audio and HD with FA (face authentication) camera features equip workers with the ideal tools for remote collaboration. The AI Realtek audio solution provides noise reduction that mutes specific background noises, while the user remains perfectly audible. Complimenting this, the AI camera assists in lighting correction and face framing to deliver a seamless video experience. Workers can keep their surroundings private with a range of platform independent, smart background concealment options. As this is at camera level, privacy is maintained even when a non-standard video conferencing application needs to be used.


Expertly built with a premium finish

The Portégé X40-K has been carefully engineered to boast excellent design features without compromising on performance. The aluminium chassis strikes the perfect balance between quality and affordability, with a honed Dark Tech Blue finish providing an enhanced look and feel. The embossed matt silver Dynabook logo adds a touch of luxury – delivering a premium finish alongside a diamond cut frame on both the lid and touch pad.


The sophisticated look and feel of the X40-K is partnered with a practical and durable build. Its narrow 3-sided bezel maximises screen capacity without compromising on size or portability. Ultra-slim and easy to hold at only 17.9mm thick and 1.46kg* in weight, the device is fully prepared for working on the go. With its lowered frameless keyboard, the anti-glare screen is protected from keyboard dirt while the lid is closed. An expertly engineered cooling system utilises exceptionally quiet twin fans plus a rubber foot on the exterior to separate warm and cool air.


An innovative anodising process provides a crisp metallic finish which also protects against everyday scrapes and scratches, while the spill-resistant keyboard adds further protection to a device that is designed to meet the wear and tear challenges of hybrid working. Collaboration is further supported by the X40-K’s 180-degree opening angle, so users can share information with co-workers easily and efficiently.
